Short rear overhang for absolute off-road performance, or longer overhang for more carrying capacity.

Fortified Cargo Carriage Roof, or panoramic double glazed Aurora View roof options.

A suspension system unlike any other

Ísar‘s proprietary High Ground Coverage Suspension system, HGCS, allows magical comfort over any terrain.

Adjustale rising rate springing and off-road racing derived damping controls 60 cm of wheel travel.

Over 10 years of hard professional use of our first HGCS system has proven it to completely isolate passengers from rough mountain tracks, and save hours of travel time. 

Tyres: Bigger is better. Ours are the biggest. 

On 50 inch diameter tyres as standard, Ísars zoom past all sunk, stuck, or stricken alternatives. 

Tyres up to 54 inches can be fitted, making fast, light Ísars serious rivals to slow, high-cost tracked vehicles.

As a testament to Ísar´s disruptive design, all our vehicles are EU Road Vehicle certified and excel in normal traffic.

Our customers have a wide range of energy source requirements.

Replacing fossil fuel by non-carbon emitting energy is integrated into Ísar’s basic design.

An example is our game-changing, CO2 positive, Roadless Rapid Transit™ solution,

Greenland’s first land transport project linking two important communities across unspoiled nature,

water conservation area and Unesco World Heritage area. Greenlands Environmental Agency stipulates E-methanol fuel. a part of our Extreme Mobility Electric Propulsion (EMEP) solution for off-pavement transport.

EMEP is integral to Ísar‘s basic design, available after launch with optional Range Extender ICE generator.

Durable drivetrains

Current vans and SUVs modified for large tyres are fragile and have enormous maintenance costs.Designed for prolonged abuse in extreme settings, Ísar’s drivetrains use simple, oversized, widely available, tried and true components, with one part number covering all suspension bushings f.ex.

Anodised high-strength aluminium structure 
– No paint needed!

Hydro Aluminium supplies Ísar with 100% carbon-neutral, longlife-anodised high strength aluminium. 

Hydro created the first bonded aluminium extrusion vehicle manufacturing system, replacing welding with adhesive joints, stronger, more precise, less expensive, fully sealed and time saving in series production. 

Lean Duplex high-strength ductile stainless steel

-No paint needed! 

Parts like suspension arms, subframes etc are made from a new, super-high-strength, higly ductile, corrosion- & maintenance-free steel from partners Outokumpu/Stalatube. Our premium material choices and fit-for-purpose "No Dead Luggage" and “No Space Waste” structural and packaging design concepts, means Ísar is 1 to 3 tons lighter than any current comparable competitor.  Ísar vehicles can therefore be paint-free, saving the environment, and about 25% of production cost.

Ísar‘s modular design adapts to almost any need for safe, rapid, sustainable tread-lightly travel on or off roads

Our "LIGHTFOOT" environmental concept can spare unspoiled areas from suffering intrusive road infrastructure. Ísar vehicles can economically carry passengers at road speeds over rough roads, or even no roads, but also motorways. Ísar “treads lightly” thanks to low weight and the huge Low Ground Pressure tyres with central pressure control. All Ísar design choices aim to minimally impact the environment, whilst being utterly reliable, spectacularly long lasting, and giving a high return on investment.

Ísar only relies on fossil fuel as necessary to ensure occupant safety far away from built-up areas. Even our first prototype uses biogas from local household waste. As used for the Greenland project, geothermally produced Carbon Capture methanol e-fuel is a functional option, right now. Electric hybrid to fully electric solutions are built into the core design, using the General Motors Ultium E-propulsion system.
